Special Foreword From Ruben Gonzales

Most people think of leadership as a skill
that should only be owned by a handful of
people. They are the formal leaders such as heads
of state, heads of government, the king, senior
state officials, military heads, the heads of the
institutions and the like. Or informal leaders
such as non profit organization chairman,
president of association, or religious leaders.
While many times, ordinary people, feel no need
to learn leadership skills.
My friend Urgyen Rinchen Sim has written a special book. In
leadership, he shows people how to become self leaders. How to control
themselves, motivate themselves, and how to become a better leader
to become more successful both personally and professionally. The
examples in this book are not just from famous people, but also from
ordinary people.
An athlete for example, could not be a champion if he did not train
hard and regularly. He could not train hard and regularly, if he did
not have an adequate level of discipline. Level of self discipline is one of the main skills of a leader. Without discipline there is no leadership.
So, athletes should be able to lead themselves first, to train hard, and
regularly, before conquering opponents.
Also, what is discussed in this book is not just theory, but practice
in everyday life, plus case examples. There are many books that contain
these things. And this book became one of the main sources for you who
thirst for leadership skills, with different viewpoints. Sim, make the
viewpoints more down to earth, easily understood and easily practiced.
Hope you can enjoy this amazing book.
